She was due to report to the national team on Monday ahead of Norway’s Euro 2025 qualifiers against Finland and the Netherlands. Maanum has made 77 appearances for her country, scoring 14 goals.

The 24-year-old collapsed off the ball in the fifth minute of stoppage time during the cup final at Molineux. Stina Blackstenius scored the only goal of the match in the 116th minute to seal Arsenal’s victory.

Shortly after she was stretchered off the pitch, a spokesperson for the club told ESPN that Maanum was “conscious, talking and in a stable condition.”

She did not go to hospital and travelled back to London with the team after the game.

It is not yet confirmed whether Maanum will join the national team at a later date. Norway head coach Gemma Grainger told Norwegian newspaper VG: “We are very saddened by the news about Frida. Our department is in dialogue with Arsenal and we will follow up closely. We send her our warmest thoughts and wishes.”

Arsenal are carrying out full assessments to determine the cause of her collapse. Maanum has made 28 appearances in all competitions for Arsenal this season.
