Crysencio Summerville scored a dramatic late winner as Leeds United shocked Liverpool 2-1 at Anfield on Saturday night.

Rodrigo opened the scoring for the visitors in the 4th minute, but Liverpool hit back before the quarter-hour mark when Mohamed Salah side-footed home at the back post from an Andrew Robertson cross.

Leeds, who were winless in their last eight Premier League games, were undeterred by the equaliser and continued flying around the field, with the crossbar and some timely saves by Alisson the only things keeping Liverpool level at the break.

Liverpool were better in the second half and pushed hard for the winner, but Summerville popped up just before full time against the run of play and beat Alisson with a snap shot from the outside of his foot to hand Leeds the needed points.

The result pulls Leeds and under-pressure manager Jesse Marsch out of the relegation zone into 15th place on 12 points, while Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are down to ninth, with 16 points from 12 games.
