Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood scored in the second half as Manchester United rallied to beat Brighton & Hove Albion 2-1 in Premier League action on Sunday.
The win at Old Trafford solidifed United’s second place standing in the table, trailing Manchester City by 14 points but expanding their lead over Leicester City by four points.
Ex-United striker Danny Welbeck gave Brighton the lead in the 13th minute and kept United on their heels for the rest of the first half. However, Rashord levelled the affair in the 62nd minute after connecting on Bruno Fernandes’ pass for a shot into the corner of the net.
United captured the three points when Greenwood hit in Paul Pogba’s volley from close range.
