On Thursday, the FMF’s disciplinary committee announced that it would “sanction the player Nahuel Ignacio Guzmán Palomeque of Club Tigres with 11 suspension games, a financial sanction, and hours of community service, for the conduct shown during the match” that violated federation rules.

The FMF’s disciplinary committee announced on Monday that they received a formal complaint from Monterrey and would investigate the incident, which led to Thursday’s decision.

Additional fines were also given to both teams and Andrada after the Clasico Regio.
