FA Cup third round draw: Man City host Chelsea

Chelsea were drawn away to Manchester City in the FA Cup third round on Wednesday, while Manchester United face Everton.

City have already knocked Chelsea out of England’s other domestic cup this season with a 2-0 win in the Carabao Cup third round on Nov. 9.

Elsewhere, Premier League leaders Arsenal were drawn against League One side Oxford United, while holders Liverpool will face Wolves and Tottenham Hotspur host third-tier Portsmouth.

Non-league Wrexham — co-owned by Hollywood stars Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds — travel to Championship side Coventry City while Boreham Wood, the lowest-ranked team in the draw, are at home to League One side Accrington Stanley.

Chesterfield, who also play in the National League, drew a trip to Championship side West Bromwich Albion.

League Two side Stevenage are at Unai Emery’s Premier League Aston Villa.

The third round — the point where Premier League and Championship clubs enter the competition — will take place between Jan. 6-9, with the final due to be held at Wembley Stadium on June 3.
